Peris+Toral was founded in 2005 by Marta Peris and José Toral. Together they dedicate their Barcelona-based practice to research on dwelling and building methods, with theoretical and written work that addresses areas such as the relationship between film and architecture, modern ways of living, low-impact construction systems, and comfort. This monographic issue features a conversation between the architects and Eduardo Prieto, where they explore systems of exception and their attention to perception, depth, and gradient.
