The set is a three volume reprint of this monumental architectural catalog and survey that was originally done in 1715-1808, plus the new guidebook to of the series. It was the first British architectural work since Elizabethan period, and was instrumental in popularizing neo-Palladian Architecture in Britain. The set is profusely illustrated throughout with a total of 585 plates of detailed reproductions of engravings of facades and designs, as well as measured drawings and floor plans. Includes the work of architects such as Inigo Jones and Christopher Wren.
