The office of Gijs Van Vaerenbergh is actually two individuals, Pieterjan Gijs and Arnout Van Vaerenbergh, and this publication contains a cross section of their work until the present moment. It is a diverse body of work, grounded in a broader tradition that encompasses both architecture and the visual arts and, according to the architects, its coherence and interrelations are not always directly evident.
