Blunk Books is pleased to announce the reissue of Undesigning the Bath by Leonard Koren. In the quarter century since its publication, and long since out of print, Undesigning the Bath has accrued a devoted following amongst designers, artists, and bathing enthusiasts. The new edition aims to make this beloved classic available to all.

The book presented a novel idea: that design is, in some fundamental ways, antithetical to the essential bathing experience. It was the culmination of a many-decade interest of Koren’s, who created bath-related events and founded the avant-garde magazine WET: The Magazine of Gourmet Bathing.

Blunk Books has worked closely with Leonard Koren, Charles de Lisle and Kajsa Ståhl to reissue the iconic book.
