Commissioned to redesign the Museum of Jurassic Technology's facade to meet structural requirements, the architects Robert Mangurian and Mary-Ann Ray transformed the project into something more than a typical seismic upgrade.  Using the Museum and its collections as inspiration, Wrapper  proposes 40 different facades that ruminate on the nature of museums, collecting, and time itself.  This unusual publication includes essays by Ralph Rugoff, Lars Lerup, Pat Morten, Mangurian and Ray, and notes on the proposals by David Wilson, the Museum's founder.  Arch at Rice #38.
