Wright, not shy with hyperbole, waxes rapturous when describing his own experience with the Japanese print: "The print is more autobiographical than you can imagine. If Japanese prints were to be deducted from my education I don't know what direction the whole may have taken. Wright's introductions to "Antique Colour Prints from the Collection of Frank Lloyd Wright," a 1917 exhibition catalogue, and "The Frank Lloyd Wright Collection of Japanese Antique Prints," a 1927 auction catalogue, as well as passages from "An Autobiography." 32 fine color plates showing works by Hiroshige, Hokusai, et al., from Wright's personal collection.
Hardcover. First edition. 144 pages. Large 4to, thirty-two color plates, the last is an extended gate-fold.
