A slightly revised American edition of the 1937 Tokyo edition (the original plates of which were destroyed in the bombing of Japan in WWII, so the illus. are second generation). Raymond was a student of Wright who practiced largely in Japan. He presents copious details of his work there. "The produce of fashion wilts. That which withstands the passage of time has good in it." Comb binding w/printed cover (in imitation of the orig. burlap cover), very good condition, small red ink line on cover.
